The position is based within the Capital Markets team in London. The team operates as the central point of contact for both primary and secondary market ETF activity and is in charge of overseeing the trading of the entire range of Lyxor ETFs. The team manages relationships with investment banks, brokers and market makers across Europe.
Mission
Your role
Your main responsibilities will be:
Develop or enhance pricing and monitoring applications for the Capital Markets team, including:
Liquidity and market-depth monitoring applications allowing for real-time updates on spreads, and volumes (quoted and traded)
Pre
- and post-trade analysis assessing underlying liquidity and measuring for market impact of a given ETF trade
Secondary market flows monitors, allowing to filter on-exchange and reported over the counter (OTC) trades
Contribute to the upgrade of the web-based platform used by market makers to place Primary market orders
Provide feedback and develop tools to facilitate automation on the desk
Assist the team in handling requests from Authorized Participants and market makers trading Lyxor ETFs
The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in London is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 24 months.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information, please see www.civiweb.com.
Profil
Your profile
Graduate from Engineering school, Business School or University with a master degree in Computer Science with a strong knowledge of financial markets.
You ideally have a previous experience in Asset Management or Investment Banking, preferably related to Exchanged Traded Funds.
You are fluent in English; proficiency in French is a plus.
You are proficient with MS Office and VBA. Knowledge of Python is a plus.
