Mission
Major Accountabilities/Principal Responsibilities:
Primary Objective
Excellence in post trade execution Client service and client on-boarding process is a top priority for Societe Generale. The objective of this position is to continue to develop the Client Service function within the Operations in Tokyo.
Duties
· Post-trade support for JGB / Foreign bonds activities – allocation / pre-confirmation generation/monitoring trade matching status.
· Proactive follow up – Liaison with local and overseas teams for settlement/payment/confirmation issues.
· Create and provide Clients with valuation reports on all products (complex and vanilla) traded with Japanese clients.
· Handle client inquiries and trouble shoot with regards to Fixed Income and Equity products, both vanilla and exotic.
· Reporting - Create internal reports to support Operations management and Front Office as well as involvement in regulatory reporting as needed.
· Project contribution – Provide required data, training to project required tasks.
· Continuous Improvement – Seek opportunities for process enhancement, mitigating operational risks where possible
· Client liaison – follow up on all client queries, ensure all client needs are delivered. Raise any new clients needs to manager and dedicated committees. Proactively troubleshoot and follow-up on remediation plan until roll-out

Key Skill Areas & knowledge Required:
· Financial background with product knowledge of structured products/fixed income products will be a plus.
· Good understanding of financial industry and regulations
· Accuracy / Swiftness / Attention to detail / Ability to work under pressure.
· Strong and sharp analytical skills
· Proactive approach seeking improvements / Willingness to learn and develop new areas and products.
· Excellent communication skills with experience in communicating with Japanese clients as well as overseas internal teams.
· Positive mindset, challenge and change oriented.
· Good working knowledge in MS office tools. Other technical knowledge is a plus.
