Environment

US Development team for the Cash Equities and Program Trading business covering all Americas markets. This team is responsible for all Sales, Trading, Middle Office and Compliance related applications around the US business. The US team works closely with the London and Paris development teams as part of a global project team. The focus of the group is the delivery of innovative, market-leading technology, to assist the business in providing exceptional service to our clients and developing competitive advantage.

Mission

·  As a Business Analyst, you will serve as liaison between IT and business end-users:
·  work with the business to analyze business requirements and review produce specifications for any new/change to technology applications
·  work with the development team to ensure that they understand the specifications
·  understanding problems in current business workflow and understanding new business requirements
·  documenting requirements / problems and presenting them in simple, clear and concise manner
·  ensuring that all compliance and regulatory requirements are managed with all new development requirements
·  writing system specifications and project managing end-to-end delivery of business functionality
·  establishing relationship with FO/MO users
·  supervision and management of the user acceptance testing phase
·  facilitate implementation of new functionality through training sessions, demos, and the development of appropriate documentation
·  provide relevant test scenarios for the testing team
·  work with test team to develop system integration test scripts and ensure the testing results correspond to the business expectations

·  Fidessa Enterprise knowledge
·  Strong US Regulation knowledge
Desired/Plus:

·  Fidessa OMAR, NMS and CTAC applications
·  Exchange Traded Derivatives Experience
·  US Listed Options Experience
·  Sybase sql experience.
·  Fidessa Dbm2 query experience.

COMPETENCIES
Required/Must have:

·  Experience in the investment banking Equities business from an IT perspective
·  Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
·  Ability to work on their own and with a distributed team i.e. physically located in other regions
·  Experience of IT business analysis. Ability to understand and analyze business processes & workflows with the objective of providing recommendations for the best use of technology to improve these

·  Ability to supervise and coordinate system and UAT testing
·  Experience with QA procedures
·  Experience with documentation / issues tracking tools
