Your environment
At Societe Generale, you will be joining the Finance division of Global Banking & Investors Solutions (GBIS), one of the three pillars of SG that brings together Corporate and Investment Banking activities, Private Banking activities, Asset Management and Investor Services. This division oversees the quality and delivery of financial statements for GBIS, the independent certification of financial data for various activities, and also provides day-to-day explanations on profit and loss for market activities.
The ALM & Regulatory Reporting department of Societe General Newedge UK Limited ensures that the entity complies with the Liquidity and Capital limits requested by the Regulator (FCA) locally and by SG Group. It focuses on Balance Sheet and liquidity metrics analysis and optimisation and provides analysis, reports and strategy to insure regulatory and Group guidelines are followed strictly in the best way possible.
Mission
Your role
Your main responsibilities will be:
Be the key contact for a key project and implementation of SG Group tools within Newedge UK perimeter.
Provide management and business partners with ad-hoc analysis and forecast and ALM topics.
Contribute to the daily production and monitoring of key liquidity metrics and regulatory requirements.
Optimisation of existing process to produce/monitor Reg and Liquidity metrics.
Data mining and data analysis on issues encounter during the daily process and ad hoc request from SG Group Management and Business lines.
Procedures and process creation and update to create a global ALM/REG framework template for SG Newedge UK.
Design new reports/analysis based on existing database and link them with SG Group tool IT system.
Support future process to be implemented for the ALM/TRE perimeter.
Support any process to be implemented within the REG/ALM perimeter (not in place yet) as per mandate and RACI.
Strongly support Regulatory Reports production and submission Projects: Standardised approach to counterparty credit risk and NUFIT (SGNUK Finance department transformation)

Profil
The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in London is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 18 months.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information, please see www.civiweb.com.
Your profile
Graduate from Engineering school, Business School or University with a master degree in Finance or Economics. You ideally have a strong expertise in Data management using Access, SQL, VBA, and/or Python.
You are fluent in English and French.
You are proficient with Microsoft Office.
