Description of the Business Line or Department - Summary of the business, coverage, services
Global Banking & Advisory (“GLBA”) is organized in 2 main teams:
• “Products” which offers our issuer clients (corporates, financial institutions, public sector) with capital raising solutions, along with structured financing. GLBA develops tailor-made products and providing strategic advice (capital structure advisory, financing schemes and capital markets) based on its worldwide expertise and in-depth sectorial knowledge.
• “Coverage” which manages and develops global commercial relations for all Coverage Strategic and Target clients; promote all Group products and services to Coverage Strategic and Target clients and key Group clients (corporates, financial institutions, investment funds and family holding companies) and defines commercial strategies in collaboration with GBIS's other business lines (GLBA and MARK), GBIS's Regional Divisions (AMER, ASIA, CEMA and EURO) and the Group's Core Divisions (French Retail Banking and IBFS)

Responsible for supporting GLBA/DIR and GLBA Business lines in Asia Pacific in
• Delivering the strategy of the business lines in Asia Pacific Region
• Monitoring the business performance
• Ensuring the proper set-up of control and mitigation of operational / regulatory / compliance risks
Profile Required
Summary of responsibilities
1st Line of Defense
• Ensures correct application of procedures defined by the bank to make sure business is conducted under a proper framework, in particular vs. local requirements (implementation and revision if necessary)
• Ensure follow up and monitoring of any regulatory issue/development
• Adapts procedures as needed internally, ensures correct implementation and design trainings as requires
Strategy & Business development
• Performs ad-hoc studies on behalf of GLBA regional management
• Coordinates the NPC process for GLBA
• Contributes to projects related to GLBA (business or regulatory driven) and its support functions
• Performs ad-hoc studies on behalf of GLBA regional management within the COO scope
Business management
• Ensures correct application of procedures (implementation and revision if necessary)
• Acts as the interface with support functions (DFIN, GBSU, HUMN, RISQ, CPLE, Legal)
• Participates in regular business & support functions meetings
• Coordinates the BCP strategy in coordination with BL managers and BCM
• Acts as main point of contact for Audit, ensures swift implementation of recommendations
Support of client relationship management
• Relationship management support: provide presentations, briefing notes and all other materials needed by Relationship Managers for client meetings, deal negotiations and management reporting; contribute to the budget exercise and business reviews
• Coordinate regional SG/CORI marketing event, study and forum
• Analytical and reporting support: management of Net Banking Income (NBI) and Risk- Weighted Assets (RWA) reported for the clients of Asia portfolio
• Review and management of the client database for clients of the portfolio, in liaison with KYC
• KCP and Coalition: work in close collaboration with MARK and CSM team to drive forward the program
• Middle-office for CBA transactions of CORI: prepare a draft of PSM and calculation of deal profitability according to Basel 3 criteria, including simulations asked by Relationship Managers or BLs
Additional Responsibilities:
