Mission

Description of the Business Line or Department

The candidate will be part of one of the fastest growing aspects of cash equities business. SG CIB is investing heavily in this space and this is an opportunity to be part of that growth.

The Global Execution Services Team (located in London, Paris, New York and Hong Kong) provide 24/5 Electronic Trading coverage of DMA/ ALGO / PT for Cash Equities and Derivatives products).

Summary of the key purposes of the role

The candidate will primarily assist the Electronic Trading Services Team; sales traders / traders and management perform their daily functions.

The candidate during the internship with the ETS desk will have the opportunity to learn all aspects of the ETS business, and to attend internal and clients meetings.

The candidate will be given daily tasks to complete, as well as assigned projects to undertaken and manage to completion.

Summary of responsibilities

• VBA development for several projects for the ETS Group.
• Development of Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA) reporting tools for ETS client base.
• Process new client accounts requests and assist with onboarding new clients
• Generation of daily reports to identify risk positions and resolve p/l queries.
• Project based tasks relating to execution performance analysis, revenue and management information, marketing initiatives, market structure analysis.
• Assisting with day to day client and internal queries.
• Monitoring clients order flow and enhancing our product suite.
• Client Relationship Management Reviews.

Level of Autonomy and Authority

The candidate will be mentored under the ETS London Deputy Head. All decisions making will be agreed in advance with his / her direct management.

Work Experience

Preference would be for a candidate to have experience in a financial institutional, ideally in a similar role.

Languages

Fluent English (Oral and Written – Needs to communicate clearly).
French useful, but not essential.
