Société Générale
is looking to add a cross asset execution sales to its Prime Market Access team in Luxembourg. He/she will be based in the trading room of the bank. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated young graduate student to gain experience on a growing desk of a leading bank.

The Prime Market Access desk is dedicated to the largest and most active clients of the Private Banking division. This five strong team is active on all asset classes for large clients (private, family offices, corporates, external asset managers).

Mission

Your role
• Cross-Asset market execution: order transmission, handling of pricing requests & trade instructions, monitoring of trade execution on a wide array of assets: equities, bonds, OTC & listed derivatives, FX, Futures.

• Monitoring of client risk and client portfolios

The VIE assignment in a nutshell

This VIE in Luxembourg is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. Please see www.civiweb.com , in order to have more details regarding your financial indemnities.

Your profile

• Experience: First experience in a front office desk required. Experience on the foreign exchange market is a plus.
• Education:Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering school or University, majoring in market finance
• Technical knowledge: Good basic knowledge of different asset classes, financial instruments (in particular derivatives) and of the macroeconomic environment.
• Ability to quickly grasp and understand complex trading strategies.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and French.
• Responsible and client oriented.
• Good team player who is flexible and adaptable.
