Société Générale Private Banking Suisse SA, is part of the SGPB network based in Switzerland and offers wealth management solutions to high net worth individuals. SGPB Suisse is offering comprises global expertise in international wealth planning as well as in a wide range of investment solutions.

Main Mission:

Within the Wealth Management Solutions department, you will be in charge of monitoring transactions for advisory and discretionary mandates in line with all upcoming regulatory obligations regarding LSFIN. You must ensure that all transactions are executed only after a defined set of controls.

             This role will be to support the Front officers in the execution of these regulatory duties, as well as performing second level controls on these activities. Being part of the Cross Investment Solutions team, your daily tasks will also be extended to back up and assistance with other control tasks (control of account under management, specific credit controls).

Tasks and responsibilities:

·  Assist the Investment Managers with the execution of regulatory controls on advisory mandates
·  Execute daily checks on the compliance of transactions (Suitability and Appropriateness) in line with LSFIN regulation
·  Follow-up on anomalies (transactions performed without appropriate controls)
·  Produce dashboards to the attention of senior managers on the compliance of transactions and reports
·  Coordinate/Ensure the maintenance of the LSFIN controls and reporting platform
·  Assist in maintain the product database used for the calculation of risk metrics
·  Assist with the calculation of risk metrics of existing portfolios and investment proposals

Profile required

Studies and experience:

·  Master’s degree in economics, finance/banking or relative field
·  A first experience as part of a control/risk monitoring team is an advantage

Language skills:

·  Fluency in French and English is mandatory
·  Other languages are a plus

Technical, operational and soft skills:

·  Advanced knowledge of query language (SQL) and able to understand database table relationships
·  Advanced knowledge in VBA programing (any other language is considered an advantage such as Python)
·  Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Pack Office (Word, Excel, Power Point). Tests will be performed during the interview
·  Good understanding of risk metrics (VaR, expected shortfall) and all financial products including derivatives and structured products
·  Autonomous, rigorous, and a can do-attitude is paramount for the position
