Social Vend is a very fast growing and dynamic startup that creates smart vending machines for the events, marketing and product testing industries. We have been around for a couple of years now and have worked with some big names including McDonalds, YouTube and Pepsi. You'll be working alongside a team of 10 people, half of which are based in the office full time, we all enjoy after work drinks and creating an atmosphere thats dynamic and interesting to work in.

Our idea candidate is someone who is very self motivated and keen to progress into a full time development role after the internship. This means that we want you to be reading books, doing online courses and developing your own projects in your free time and also during the work day whenever there is any quiet periods. Along with that we want you to generally make the most of the expertise you will have around you and ask lots of questions!

Initial Responsibilities:
Build custom experiences and games for our clients (web tech)
Keep the client facing site up to date
Handle design assets and prepare/optimise them for web
Develop email templates for our outbound marketing

Requirements:
Knowledgeable in HTML & CSS

Extra marks if you have experience with any of the below:
Js
Adobe Photoshop
Adobe Illustrator
React Js

Interview process:
We will be performing a 3 step interview process to find the perfect match for us (and you!), the first is an over the phone interview, the second is an in-person interview and the third will be a paid trial week. If we are a good fit for you and visa versa we will start you on a 6 month paid internship before your first performance and wage review (held biannually).

Salary:
Starting 18k pa (biannual performance and wage reviews)
