Job description
To promote the ENT Business Units product ranges to existing and new accounts in Germany so that agreed sales targets and objectives are achieved. To provide the Business Units customers with a high standard of service and technical advice. Maintaining prescribed gross profit margins and achieving goals are to be achieved while upholding company policies and procedures.
Position Functions
Profitably sell the Business Units product portfolio so that the product group and overall territory sales targets are achieved.
Continuously assess the territory and market to identify new business opportunities with existing customers for Coblation and Rapid Rhino surgical products
Develop, grow, execute and then renew a pipeline of potential new ENT accounts
Work with Smith & Nephew customer service representatives to ensure a high level of customer service is maintained.
Provide technical advice and training to customers on Smith & Nephew products to ensure high levels of user competence.
Follow up of all sales leads, customer enquiries and requests for assistance to ensure sales opportunities are maximized and the customer is provided with a first class service.
Attend all relevant trade shows and course when required
Acquire, maintain and an keep up-to-date and in-depth knowledge of the territory, including information on current customers, business potential, purchasing protocols, competitor activity and market trends. Report monthly on sales activity, business prospects and competitor activity and, on a quarterly basis on sales performance, territory business plan and market trends.
Desired profile
REQUIREMENTS
Travel
As required to cover the geography, mostly 5 days per week with some overnight stays. Approx. 15-20 days per year of international travelling
Education
To degree level standard or equivalent in science based subject is advantageous.
Licenses/Certifications
Driving License & CRB check
Experience
Proven sales experience within the pharmaceutical/medical devices sales sector.

Presentation skills, B2B sales experience, negotiating skills, problem solving skills, tenacity and resilience, articulate, numerical, relationship building, persuasive, self-driven and approachable. Committed, persistent, motivated, and hard working
Other
Spoken and written English, Germen required at a fluent level. Microsoft Office skills and CRM knowledge.
