Due to continued growth and expansion, Smith & Nephew are opening a new commercial hub at Croxley Green Business Park in Watford and we currently have an exciting opportunity for experienced Customer Service Advisors to join us, on 16th November 2015, in continuing our success and excellent customer relations.
The commercial hub will be the base of our UK & Ireland commercial organisation and customer service centre; it will also be home to other departments such as our state of the art Surgical Skills facility.
As a Smith & Nephew Customer Service Advisor you will be responsible for providing customer service and support to both internal and external customers, including Territory Managers and Health Care Professionals who every day are supporting patients to regain their lives.
Main responsibilities include:
* Handling and processing customer requests for orders, loan hire bookings and returns
* Supporting teams of sales representatives providing sales quotations, equipment and products for sales demonstrations
* Delivering quality and excellence by working to agreed key performance targets focused on customer experience and output of core processes
* Taking a proactive approach to recognising and offering customers additional products, alternative products, promotions and information related to new product launches and events; as well as collecting customer feedback and market intelligence
Experience and attributes:
* Previous customer service experience in a service led industry or the supply of products and services (2 years minimum)
* Previous experience of working in a customer service environment, providing telephone customer service and support
* Verbal communication strength; ability to build rapport with internal and external customers
* Team work a strength; ability to blend well within both a customer service team and sales regions, supporting the later as internal customers
* Attention to detail strength; ability to remain accurate while working under time and workload volume pressures
* Places the customer first at all times and values colleagues, the company and the patients we serve

Godmanchester site (please note that applications cannot be accepted from applicants who are unable to commit to the off-site training).
