Marketing Intern

Job description

We are looking for enthusiastic, creative and passionate individuals who love to work with people like us, to join our growing marketing team. In this position, you will collaborate with our marketing and sales teams on a daily basis. Your work will include growing and expanding our marketing channels through social media outreach, blogging, and strategic planning. That means you'll:

Support the marketing team.
Develop new social media campaigns, considering current and planned promotional activities.
Monitor social channels and report back on customer feedback, questions, and concerns.
Assist in the creation of email campaigns, and social media content.
Manage the blog, encourage participation and make sure relevant content is added.
Proof read and edit copy supplied by internal stakeholders.
Drive improvement through campaign tracking, campaign status updates and result analysis.
Assist in planning and staffing of trade shows.
Assist in planning and hosting marketing events.
Assist in coordination of our PR agencies.

Desired profile

Strong work ethic.
Sound understanding of digital marketing and business social media best practices and platforms.
Experience using web related content management and social media scheduling tools.
Strong verbal and written communication, project management and planning skills.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and intermediate Photoshop skills.
Sound understanding the social media landscape.
Data entry and computer skills a must.
Ability to take initiative.
Experience with content creation.
Willingness to learn on the job and share experiences with other members of the team.
