PR / Social Media / Communication Intern

  • Internship
  • London (Greater London)

Job description

A dynamic tech start-up on the eve of launching its product is looking for a motivated, all-hands-on-deck intern specialising in communication, community management and/or PR.

For the past two years, we have been developing an automated time-tracking app. It relies on in-house artificial intelligence to help people with time management, productivity and work-life balance. After a long Beta phase, the app is now ready to be launched and we are looking for an intern who'd enjoy taking part in that exciting adventure.

We are a French start-up with an English branch, and we communicate almost exclusively in English, with a particular aim towards the American public.

--

You will be working half-time, around 20h per week, at our branch in North London, in close collaboration with our communication geared co-founder.
You will be entrusted with community management on our social networks, redaction of relevant blog and newsletter content, redaction of press releases, helping to grow our PR network, taking part in events, and other punctual missions, depending on the need of the hour and your personal taste and strengths.

Working at a start-up means you will have scope to take on some responsibilities, be part of the action at all times, and try your hand at different aspects of PR and communication.

The position is ideally suited to a communication student who is looking for a part-time internship in complement of their studies.

There is a possibility of permanent hire at the end of the internship, depending on company evolution and internship success.

Desired profile

You will have studied/be studying for a qualification in a relevant field. Having some relevant work experience under your belt is a definite plus.

An interest in B2C mobile apps and tech is appreciated. Being passionate about time management is not required, but will bring you close to being the perfect applicant!

Native or fluent knowledge of English is a must.
Speaking French is not required, although some knowledge of it will be welcome.
Good redactional and interpersonal skills are paramount.

Make every future a success.
