Laboratory Technician for the Processing of Cord Blood samples at Smart Cells International:

A laboratory technician is required to work full time in a cleanroom facility which processes cord blood and cord tissue. The candidate must have a biological background and be able to work to a high standard under considerable time pressure. The position will be as part of a small team and will involve working on Saturdays and public holidays. Working hours are 9:00 - 17:30 monday to Saturda (37.5 hours a week).

The ability to work at pace accurately and with attention to details are essential. We are a busy laboratory and this is a wonderful opportunity to learn about both science and business.

Qualifications must be at least a BSc in a science based subject, and the candidate would ideally have had at least one year’s experience in a laboratory but this is not essential. Science graduates with the appropriate aptitude will be considered.

The applicant must live within commuter distance of the Uxbridge or Heathrow area or be willing to relocate.

Starting salary from £16,500 per annum.
