Sky Handling Partner is a customer driven Aviation Ground Handling Company at London City Airport, that provides essential aircraft turnaround services to major airlines, designed to create the best possible travel experience for our airline passengers.
Title: Turnaround Co-ordinator
Reports to: Load Control Supervisor
Based at: London City Airport
Role:
To effectively co-ordinate the safe arrival and departure of a specific flight, whilst maintaining the highest levels of customer service. To manage and co-ordinate all aspects of the aircraft turn round ensuring things happen in a safe, secure and timely manner.
Main Tasks
- To be available in good time for the arrival of a flight
- Carry out all the necessary preparation for the dispatch of specific flight
- Ensure the relevant flight documentation is passed in a timely manner to the appropriate departments or organisations
- To ensure the flight file is fully completed and all relevant information is held within the flight file.
- Co-ordinate and supervise all the third party activities involved in the turn round process, Ensuring the following complete their tasks to SHP/Airline standard catering/fuellers/cleaners and other external services
- To assist and handle requests from passengers during the arrival process
- The covering of Ops Control on occasions when requested.
- To supervise and carry out departure boarding control and safe co-ordination of passengers to and from the aircraft and the terminal building
- To be able to present passengers to the relevant control authorities
- Comply with internal updated procedures as instructed by Manager
- Comply with external updated procedures as instructed by Airlines and CAA
- Complete any tasks that the Station Controller and/or Manager may require
- To carry out any other reasonable request as deemed appropriate form time to time by the company

Candidates must be fully flexible and available to work rostered shifts in line with operational demand.
