Job description

"We buy off-cuts and surplus fabrics and make them into luxury garments. The range started with boxers made from surplus shirting and now includes: waistcoats, jackets, dressing gowns, jumpers, scarves and accessories and is constantly evolving!"

The role is for a buying and studio assistant, to help out with all aspects of the business.

Typical responsibilities to include:

Helping the Buyer in day to day tasks such as communicating with the factory
Helping source trims
Filling out orders for the factory
Managing the fabric and stock
Marketing ideas, social media, group singing (only joking)
Customer services
Selling on the stall
Occasionally work weekends
Mucking in on the trips to the post office

Candidate Requirements:

The successful applicant will be: enthusiastic, flexible and hard working. If you want an easy ride, don’t get in touch!
Either currently studying or recent graduate of a textile / fashion related course
An ambition to create the best luxury clothing
A multi-task-er
Well organized and able to work in a fast paced environment
Both creative and analytical
Have an interest in clothing and want to develop a career
Numerically capable
There is an office cat who occasionally pops her head in, so you must not have cat allergies!

- Pay: £100 per week
