The role of Allocator (Merchandising Admin Assistant) is an analytical and numerical role suited to someone with a degree that involved maths, statistics, or quantitative modules. Any prior experience with Excel is definitely an added bonus!

As a key part of the merchandising team, Allocators play a crucial role within our business ensuring that lines are stocked at all times allowing our customers the widest choice available. By supporting the Merchandising team, with reporting, placing orders and maintaining stock levels you’ll help to deliver maximum sales and profit through effective planning, forecasting and stock management.

You’ll need to be a good communicator and enjoy speaking to new people as you’ll liaise regularly with your suppliers to ensure that orders are placed and deliveries are made according to agreed timescales. You’ll be responsible for producing accurate and regular inventory information and ensuring that our information databases are kept up to date and will also produce analysis reports with the aim of improving overall performance.

We are looking for an excellent team player, who has an understanding of or genuine interest in buying and merchandising. A previous role in merchandising isn’t necessary as at entry level an Allocator role has plenty of scope for development. A graduate who is eager to learn and equipped with the relevant skills for this role will fit right in!
