Poste et missions:
SIGNALIS is hiring a System Engineer to be located in its Singapore office covering the APAC area (Australia, Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, South Korea, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam).
Under the supervision of the Operations & Services Manager, you will:
- Manage the French teams (development, sensors, assembly, etc.) involved in the different projects to deploy the systems on site
- Ensure the system rollout and its consistency on every aspects (technical but project management as well)
- Carry out the system integration: both internal and external software and hardware
- Lead the non-conformity resolutions
- Follow-up the after projects deliveries and maintain a high level of services for the existing customers
Starting with 3 months in Paris HQ, then in Singapore office
Skills requirements :
- Good experience in Engineering, IT and systems architecture
- Linux and windows environment (scripts and registries)
- Software environment:
o JAVA, C, Ruby and Puppet language competences
o GIT tool
o JIRA or equivalent issues tracking tool
- Network environment:
o CISCO, JUNIPER or HUAWEI routers knowledge
o experience with different routing protocols
- Hardware environment:
o electronic and electric know-how
o physics comprehension to apprehend sensors technology (RADARs, Eletro-Optics, Radio Directional Finders, VHF, AIS)
- Ability to create a friendly environment and long term relationships with customers
- Project management familiarity
- Autonomous
- High level of mobility required, with potential for up to 50% international business travel,
Profile requirements:
- Language: Fluent in English and proficiency in French as a minimum
- Education: Engineering Master degree or equivalent as a minimum, additional certifications is an advantage.
- Experience: Past experience (internship or work) in relation with the job description in engineering for maritime / security / defence / complex integrated systems.
