We are looking for a Quality Control Technician for our 1st shift team. This position will be based at our Buffalo Grove, IL facility.
As the Quality Control Technician, you will:
- Collaborate with the supplier quality inspection team, handling tasks such as receiving inspection, PPAP, NMR generation, stock purges, RPO/DN, and conducting detailed measurements on complex parts using advanced equipment.
- Contribute to improving manufacturing quality and supply chain processes, ensuring the effective use of essential quality tools to achieve seamless solutions.
- Be involved with hands on inspecting, sorting, purging of products both in the production areas as well as in the warehouse and stockroom.
- Collaborate with Warehouse or Inventory Control, undertaking diverse material handling duties which may entail operating pallet jacks.
- Ability to drive continuous quality improvements within a manufacturing environment.
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- 2+ years’ experience in manufacturing quality inspection
- 3+ years’ experience in a supply chain ISO-9001 environment
- Technical knowledge and hand-on experience using various measurement equipment (CMM, OGP, Comparator etc.)
- Knowledge of EMS (Electronic manufacturing Supplier) product and manufacturing processes, methodologies, and inspection techniques.
- Knowledge of First Article and Critical Characteristic requirements.
- Experience with engineering drawings & tolerance, standards & specifications
- Must have ability to lift, move, and organize material in a manufacturing/warehouse environment.
- Must be Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School Degree / GED
- Experience in the use of MS Office suite; Windows Operating System; and SAP
- Excellent understanding of manufacturing production principles

- The pay range for this position is $48,300 - $89,700. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
