What part will you play?
·
You conduct applied research combining the areas of Semantic Technologies and Machine Learning
·
You directly apply research results in industry-relevant projects around flexible, explainable production planning scenarios in the area of Industry 4.0
·
You develop novel concepts for integrating machine learning with symbolic knowledge representation
·
Further, you implement research experiments and prototypical technical solution as well as publish results on international conferences and journals
·
You get the chance to cooperate with internal company and external university project partners across multiple disciplines and take responsibility for work packages and sub-project management tasks as well as the writing of deliverables
·
Strive for a PhD degree in close cooperation with all intern and extern partners

You already have a master's degree (or comparable) degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Technology or similar studies
·
You are motivated to apply cutting-edge AI research with impact in an industrial environment in a self-reliant way
·
Skills in the fields of Semantic Technologies (Ontologies and Knowledge Representation) and Machine Learning (e.g. Neuronal Networks) are beneficial
·
You also have strong development skills in established programming languages (e.g. Java, Python, etc.),
·
Ideally you have experience with ontology languages (RDF/OWL), Machine Learning and data analytics frameworks
·
You have excellent written and verbal English and German skills
