Job description

The Digital Industries (DI) ECommerce Summer Internship Program gives the opportunity to learn about the Siemens Organization while offering full exposure to the DI organization! The intern will gain an understanding of nearly all departments, business lines and roles within DI, enabling the understanding of where and how you may best fit within our organization. Under the guidance of a designated mentor, the individual will be immersed in Siemens products, technologies and culture, discovering what makes our company a global leader.

Participants who optimally complete the internship program will be considered for full-time opportunities in the Sales Development Program with Siemens Digital Industries upon graduation.

Your responsibilities may include:
Understanding the rich history of Siemens and the Siemens values
Learning about the industry/channel/market
Understanding Siemens approach to Ecommerce and the key players
Learning key sales processes and tools
Establishing internal/external contacts
Access to and network with Siemens’ senior decision makers and key leaders

Internship Start Date: Summer 2024

Locations: Atlanta, GA 

Required Qualifications:
- Overall Cumulative GPA: 2.7 preferred but may consider 2.5 and above
- Education: Current rising junior or senior undergraduate students pursuing a BA/BS from an accredited technical school, college or university
- Majors: Digital Marketing, Industrial/System Engineering, Industrial Distribution. Other business degrees will be considered.
- Relocation and Travel: Must be willing to relocate and travel
- Work Authorization: Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week from May to August

Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven leadership skills
- Strong analytical, writing and presentation skills
- Industry knowledge and/or interest

Benefits: 
The hourly pay for this position is $27 per hour.  The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.  Additionally, interns for Siemens are eligible to contribute into our 401K program.
