Social Media Intern

Shoal is changing the way people work. It started as a Facebook group in 2016 with the intention of connecting startups and freelancers that work alone and has grown to become a one of the most ambitions startups in Scotland.

We're looking for an intern to join our team to take on our social media - from Instagram through to Facebook and Twitter. You'll have creative freedom to produce posts and campaigns that reach new and exciting audiences that promote our platform, brand and events. In May, Shoal will be running National Coworking Day and you'll get to take on that too.

Throughout the internship, you'll have the chance to work closely with talented designers, cinematographers and entrepreneurs and will be involved in our other events, including our "CRUX" programme which is in collaboration with Skyscanner and local brewers, artists and other 50 Scottish businesses.

Desired profile

Digital Communication / Marketing background.

Good communication skills with a desire to lead and to influence.

Ability to use design software for the production of marketing images.

Good understanding of packages like Hootsuite and Buffer.
