Job Description

Purpose:
Support the business by contributing to the optimization of secondary transport and scheduling operations through meaningful analysis of performance data.

Accountabilities:
·  Analyze demand forecast accuracy, its impact on distribution service levels and financial impact of forecast errors as a key input to the monthly S&OP process
·  Analyzed Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) data and ensure accurate data input for daily scheduling process
·  Analyze turnaround time of fuel delivery road tankers and generate reports for identifying improvement opportunities
·  Root cause analysis of stock outs, redirects, tanker truck decantation delays at retail outlets and develop insights for relevant stakeholders
·  Monitor retail sales trends and provide inputs to OTD team for improving scheduling accuracy
·  Work with Road Transport team to identify potential value leakages and optimizing service levels, HSSE and costs
·  Participate in projects for supporting LEAN/CI initiatives in operations
·  Monitor haulier wise RT/OTD performance data and share inputs for reward and consequence management
·  Budget and SLA analysis, monitoring and reporting
·  Support business initiatives - data collation, evaluation. Gather and compile data from internal and external sources, such as the finance system, CROSS and other business tools
·  Ensure the accuracy of Distribution tariffs calculation and allocation to business partners through appropriate management and analysing of Cost2Serve tool and process
·  Support Distribution operations and cross-business analyses towards improvements in the road transport efficiency
·  Monitor system data ensure all customer data are properly registered in CROSS, GSAP, VMIFE and/or any other scheduling IT tools (e.g. products, tanks, delivery time windows and SLAs for each site, trucks weight, drivers data, site location map etc.)
Special Challenges

·  Managing the multiple interfaces with hauliers and business partners, customers and other key stakeholders within T&S for supporting Enterprise First decision making
·  Support delivery of the required Customer Service and Unit Cost performance for multiple territories for distribution where targets and operating conditions vary significantly from market to market
·  Standardization and simplification of processes; support data driven decision making and removing subjectivity
·  Support delivery of CI/Lean projects; desirable to develop improvement skills and tools in order to identify the right approach for improving operational performance

Desired profile

Requirements

·  Bachelor or equivalent degree in logistics, economics or business administration or equivalent experience
·  Good commercial mindset and analytical skills with knowledge of excel based analysis
·  Stakeholder management skills and excellent English language communication skills
·  Knowledge of SAP, ability to generate SAP reports
·  Knowledge of Vendor Managed Inventory Front End, CROSS or equivalent planning and scheduling platform
·  Knowledge of distribution and customer service metrics – OTIF/Stock Outs/Distribution cost/Inventory turns/TAT analysis/VCU-VTU etc
·  Knowledge of LEAN and CI processes/terminology – VSM, problem solving skills, root cause analysis (5 why/fish bone etc.)
