Job Description

What is the role
The Network Planner - Program development is a key role within the Shell UK Retail Team and holds the primary responsibility for developing the Multi Year investment and divestment Plan for the Retail Service Station Network. This will be achieved by developing a thorough understanding of challenges and opportunities across the Network, and by leveraging strong trust based relationships with Marketing, Sales and Operations and Engineering colleagues

What will you do

·  Develop the Multi Year Program (MYP) which will compromise site specific investment and divestment program, working closely with Sales and Operations, Marketing, Engineering, Real Estate and Soil Groundwater teams.
·  Monitor in-year e2e capex program delivery, anticipating challenges and ensuring timely actions to deliver the expected phasing are taken.
·  Support the development and implementation of a Future Fuels program for UK Retail including Hydrogen, Liquified Natural Gas and EV Charging installations. This would include site selection, business case development and evaluation.
·  Write and present robust Investment Proposals,
·  Perform financial analysis (NPV generation) using standard tools for financial modelling

Requirements

What we need from you

·  BSc degree or equivalent
·  Experience in program development and management.
·  Finance economics experience is desirable. Experience in other areas of the Retail business will be considered an advantage.
·  A high degree of numeracy is required, highly proficient in excel with competency in financial modelling
·  Strong business acumen, demonstrated interest in Retail and able to recognise value drivers and commercial risk within the development of business cases.
·  Demonstrable interest in Retail and low emissions 'future' fuels and initiatives
·  Comfortable with the analysis, processing and interpretation of data
·  Able to develop and present high quality written Investment Proposals preferred.
