Job Description

·  A Junior Reservoir Engineer (RE) is required to support the evaluation, integration and processing of reservoir data.
·  The position is expected to contribute to the value adding development plans for Shell Bolivia fields, ensuring business plan production and reserves targets are achieved.
·  The Jr. RE would help in the management and maintenance of the reserves base and will participate of technical approvals for reserves determination and project sanction.
·  The successful candidate will Integrate data and workflows across the Shell Bolivia technical, financial and commercial departments, providing technical recommendations in liaison with NOJV partners.
·  The Jr. RE would also represent Shell in technical matters related to reserves with government.

Desired profile

Requirements

The successful candidate must have :
·  Petroleum Engineer degree;
·  Fluency in both English and Spanish;
·  2-4 years of professional work experience;
·  Operatorship experience;
·  Good command of Petroleum Expert tools such as GAP, MBAL, Prosper;
·  Awareness of reserves estimate, reservoir monitoring and surveillance, PVT sampling, PLT interpretation, etc.
·  Uncertainty and risk analysis knowledge is a requirement.
Desirable competences & experience:
·  MSc. in Petroleum Engineer would be considered an asset;
·  Experience analyzing well tests and PTA preferably with Kappa software will be valued;
·  Dual porosity awareness and fractured reservoir behavior is an advantage;
·  Use of reservoir simulation tools such as Petrel/Eclipse is desirable.
