To reinforce our team in St. Gallen, Switzerland, we are looking for a

CHEMICAL ENGINEER or CHEMIST - AUDITOR (f/m)

Main responsibilities

Our auditors conduct audits with regard to environmental, occupational health and product stewardship. The auditor plans, prepares and carries out audits at chemical suppliers. The findings are documented in comprehensive and consultative audit reports which evaluates the compliance of the audited criteria. Agreed improvements and corrective measures are followed-up and the progress is documented. This job is challenging - and it offers the unique chance to change things towards sustainability in the world of textiles.

Specific responsibilities

Perform audit on site

Prepare extensive evaluations and audit reports in English

Follow-up of agreed improvements and corrective measures, as well as documentation of the progress

Requirements

A qualified degree in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering or related science

At least 3-5 years of professional experience in relevant chemical industries

Profound knowledge in the field of environment, occupational health and consumer safety

Profound knowledge and experience in the field of product stewardship, classification and labelling of chemical products

Good knowledge of the chemical supply chain

Extensive auditing experience (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OSHAS 18001)

Willingness to travel

Deeper knowledge and experience about textile dyestuffs is an advantage

Good interpersonal and intercultural skills

Team worker with proven ability to work independently

Quick perception and analytical mindset

Ability to train and transfer knowledge

Good command of written and verbal communication in English and German
