ABOUT US
Seva Care is a leading specialist care provider known for its forward thinking and innovative services for those with learning disabilities and mental health needs. We provide residential, respite, supported living and day care services to our clients.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The IT Intern will get direct exposure to all aspects of our IT department and get first hand training in networking, database, hardware, web development and other elements in our IT department. The successful applicant will be enrolled onto our exciting Internship programme and will work to develop their passion and skillset.

MAIN TASKS & DUTIES
Recommends upgrades, patches, and new applications and equipment;
Provide hardware support to the IT Manager;
Update our company website and social media sites – Web development;
Support and implement our backup/recovery procedures;
Develop on our in-house databases;
Other Ad-Hoc duties;

PERSONAL SPECIFICATION
Some knowledge and previous experience of working within IT;
Excellent MS office skills;
Clear and concise written and oral communication skills, in particular a confident, friendly approachable manner;
Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times;
Must be able to work on own initiative with minimal supervision in a proactive manner;
Team worker who is flexible and has a positive attitude to learning and self-development;
Attention to detail;
