SEURECA, subsidiary of the Veolia Group, proposes study and project management deliveries in water, sanitation and broadly environment.

In order to reduce poverty and enable sustained economic growth in Madagascar, a National Development Plan (2015
- 2019) was established by the Government of Madagascar in 2015 and is currently being implemented.
The Integrated Growth Pole and Corridors Project (or PIC2) supports this plan. In the framework of the PIC2 Energy, the Government of Madagascar has obtained a loan from the OPEC Fund (OFID) to promote so-called inclusive growth in the Anosy, Atsimo Andrefana and Diana regions, and particularly in the energy sector, to improve people's access to electricity.
It is the mission of JIRAMA, national company, which ensures the production, the transport, the distribution and the commercialization of the electrical energy in most of the big cities of Madagascar. As such, increasing access to energy requires modernizing and improving the management of JIRAMA.
The present project concerns specifically the three communes of the DIANA region: AMBILOBE and AMBANJA, as well as NOSY BE to a limited extend, as it has already benefited from support services under the PIC1 program. SEURECA was chosen to provide capacity building and steering specifically identified actions to improve the management of local units of JIRAMA and achieve the stated objectives of access to energy and economic efficiency.
With the support of the project manager and coordinator and the team of experts, the PANGEO will be in charge of the 2 following tasks:
Follow-up of the customer census and monitoring the integration of collected data
Assist the company JIRAMA for the implementation of the communication campaign (related to the prepayment project)
Follow-up the installation of the prepayment management system
Follow-up the installation of the prepaid meters
The PANGEO will be move between Ambanja and Ambilobe depending on the needs of the project.
Educational background: Masters in engineering
Previous experience: an internship or experience in project management would be aplus
Skills: adaptability, autonomy, team spirit, organization and project management skills
Length of the assignment: 10 months (beginning february 2019)
