The opportunity:

As the Global VP of Innovation & Partnerships, you will enable the organization to innovate and stay at the forefront of customer experience omnichannel, identifying and focusing on the next big growth opportunities or consumer shifts. You will be the trusted partner and enabler of regions, you will help them to drive results by resurfacing important trends or finding the appropriate technology, start-ups and vendors and quickly prototyping solutions with business impact. You will set technological partnerships and always strive to craft the most cutting-edge beauty experience and put Sephora at the forefront of customer experience.

You will report to the Global Chief Digital Officer.

You will excel and enjoy this position if you are ready to actively handle the following missions:

·  Very customer-oriented, you will be at the service of regions, partnering with them to prioritize the painpoints or opportunities that can benefit from innovation and helping them to source and prototype the right solutions
·  Together with the regions prioritize the big bets long-term, structure business cases and deliver proof of concepts with pilot regions, in order to generate new revenue streams or a better customer experience
·  In collaboration with regional teams, you will champion the emerging technology’s benefits and best practices (e.g. Web 3, Gaming, AR/VR etc.) and set Sephora up for success long term, building the network of partners and internal capabilities
·  Maintain strategic partnerships with start-ups, big tech, external technology providers, research institutions, and industry consortia to ensure we are at the forefront of customer experience
·  Evangelize the key trends shaping customer experience and commerce and foster a culture of test and learn, continuous learning, design thinking and cross-functional collaboration.
·  Establish the internal community, governance and pipeline for innovation & fast prototyping, sharing best practices.

·  Very customer oriented, excellent communication and collaboration skills, adept at engaging with stakeholders at all levels within the organization.
·  Exceptional business acumen and knowledge of the beauty industry
·  Experience as a creative technologist with proven leadership experience in fields such as Web 3/ Gaming/ AR/VR/ AI
·  Comprehensive understanding of these new technologies and applications, with a demonstrated track record of 15 years of deploying solutions that generate significant business value.
·  Outstanding strategic thinking abilities, capable of leading in a dynamic and rapidly evolving technological landscape.

 

Position based in Paris (France) ideally, could also be based in San Francisco (USA).
