Supply Chain Demand Planner (Trade Counter) - Exciting Retailer
Up to £19,000 pro rata + pension + more Stafford

Your role
Reporting to the Trade Counter Replenishment manager you will take responsibility for the Supply Chain into and out of our Trade Counters ensuring we have the right stock in the right place, at the right time. Reviewing current sales rates, and adjusting and ordering our stock profile accordingly you will set stock levels for new products, continually reviewing and making recommendation of change where appropriate.
Internal relationships are key to this role, you will manage relationships with buying, marketing and operations; spending time in Trade Counters to understand retail requirements and identify new opportunities to improve availability and drive sales.
Screwfix skills

Prior experience in managing internal/external relationships - whether customers, suppliers or staff from other departments or within the immediate team

Prior experience in a role which required working on multiple tasks, to tight deadlines with a high degree of accuracy

Prior supply chain, inventory, logistics or commercial experience would be an advantage.

Proven skills in data analysis - able to understand and interpret financial, sales and other commercial information

Proven skills in problem solving - able to anticipate and highlight issues, and take decisive corrective action, working within established procedures.

Proven range of communication skills - able to communicate effectively with a range of audiences both orally and in writing

Strong computer skills (word, email and particularly Excel)
