The Role: Warehouse Supervisor
The successful candidate is responsible for planning, controlling, and managing the inbound/outbound flow of raw materials or finished goods operations to ensure on-time availability/delivery of orders, optimization of resources, the accuracy of inventory, the efficiency of operations, data integrity, and compliance to quality and safety standards. You will also be maintaining, communicating, and improving relationships with internal or external customers and suppliers. Monitor the team's performance, coach, and develop improvement plans where needed to improve employee satisfaction and motivation level and report generation and support audit requirements.
What will you do?
· Proactively creates a plan to control/manage inbound/outbound operations to optimize resources
· Develops improvement plan and coaches the team to improve employee satisfaction and level of motivation
· Continually plan, develop and control processes and procedures to optimize resources, improve efficiency and meet customers’ requirements
· Ensures timely submission of required quality/performance/inventory reports
· Develop operational procedures and work instructions
· Responsible for the following relevant tasks:
o Timely physical and logical receiving of deliveries and dispatch of
orders/requisitions, data integrity and inventory accuracy
o Compliance with safety and quality requirements
o Ensures open/closed-loop communication with other departments such as planning/ quality/ procurement/ operations/ engineering/ logistics/safety/facilities/ human resources to ensure
continuous and smooth warehouse operations
o Open, effective, and timely communication with the team to improve teamwork and optimize performance level
o Closely monitors team and operations performance to ensure required service levels/KPIs are met
Who would be successful?
· College graduate with good scholastic records
· With a minimum of 5 years experience in Import and Export from a manufacturing environment in a Philippine-Economic Zone, Customs Bonded Warehouse, or logistics service provider and a minimum of 3 years experience in a supervisory role
· Can coach other team members and good motivator
· With a good understanding of quality procedures and requirements
· Good attention to detail and good analytical ability
· With a strong background in Philippine customs rules and procedures
· Preferably with experience in Warehouse Operations or Inventory Management
· Essential traits of safety management, data entry management, analyzing information, dealing with complexity, time management, organizational skills
and equipment maintenance
· Amenable to work in Rosario, Cavite
· Working arrangements : 6x a week onsite, Mondays to Fridays 8 am – 5 pm and Saturdays 8 am -2 pm only
