Within the Energy & Sustainability Services division, the Risk Management & Trading Department is looking to grow our team of ~25 Risk and Trading Analysts, led from our Budapest office. This is a strategic service for our company as a robust commodity risk management programme is instrumental to our customer’s success and satisfaction. In this Front-Office role you will have direct communication to suppliers in Europe, as well as collaborating with colleagues and internal teams across Europe, America and Asia.

Responsibilities include:

· Gaining and maintaining up-to-date knowledge on energy commodity markets drivers globally,
· Openness towards developing and automatizing models, systems and processes, especially in Excel.
· Monitoring daily market prices of Gas, Power, Brent and other commodities;
· Executing trades on energy markets to ensure effective implementation of clients' risk management strategy;
· Working closely with the Client Management and other internal teams to deliver an exceptional level of service to our clients;
· Own and develop business processes to the highest standards of efficiency, control and accuracy;
· Provide input and testing support for system development projects;
· Be able to analyse and interpret formal energy supply contractual documents and terms and conditions
· Trading process improvement
· Understanding of different contract structures, what system/process change do we need to store the info in a useful manner enabling more secure and efficient trading
· Supporting our simplification efforts in designing processes to trade / manage clients in a more aggregate fashion

Desired profile



Qualifications :

Expectations:

·  College or University diploma or degree (preferably in an analytical role)
·  1-3 years' experience as a risk analyst / trading analyst / in the financial area
·  Fluent English (written and verbal); fluency in other European language is an advantage
·  Experience in the use of MS Excel, and willingness to develop further
·  Knowledge of any data processing software is an advantage

Skills, competencies:

·  Good level of analytical skills and attention to detail
·  Good level of listening and interpersonal skills, effective communication with internal and external stakeholders is required
·  Resistance to pressure and ability to prioritise and execute tasks efficiently under pressure
Willingness to take ownership, excellent standards of reliability and accountability
·  Experience in working in a multinational company and knowledge of the energy industry is an advantage
