Test Engineer- Verification Lead for SM Building Solutions (IoT & SW)

Job description

We are searching for a skilled Verification Leader with a strong background in IoT and Cloud-based
solutions to lead our verification and validation efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be
responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our IoT and Cloud-enabled
solutions for smart buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Verification Strategy:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive verification strategy for IoT and Cloud-based building
solutions.
- Define testing methodologies, standards, and best practices to ensure high-quality deliverables.
2. Test Planning and Execution:
- Lead the planning and execution of verification activities throughout the development lifecycle.
- Design and execute test cases to validate functionality, performance, security, and interoperability.
3. Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with software developers, hardware engineers, and Cloud architects to understand
system requirements and design effective test scenarios.
- Work closely with product managers to align verification efforts with product goals and customer
requirements.
4. Test Automation:
- Develop and implement test automation strategies to streamline the verification process.
- Utilize automation tools to create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts.
5. IoT and Cloud Expertise:
- Apply specialized knowledge in IoT and Cloud technologies to design and execute relevant
verification tests.
- Verify end-to-end functionality, data integrity, and security of IoT devices and Cloud-based services.
6. Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that verification processes adhere to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance verification efficiency and effectiveness.
7. Reporting and Documentation:
- Generate comprehensive test reports, including defect tracking and performance metrics.
- Maintain detailed documentation of verification processes, test cases, and results.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

1. Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. Experience:
- Proven experience in a verification leadership role, preferably in the IoT and Cloud domain.
- Background in building solutions for smart buildings is highly desirable (or adjacent domains).
3. Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of IoT technologies, Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), and associated
protocols.
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
4. Leadership Abilities:
- Demonstrated leadership skills in leading and motivating a verification team.
- Ability to drive collaboration and influence cross-functional teams.
5. Communication Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey complex technical
concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
