Job description

We have set net-zero targets approved by the Science-Based Target initiative, with near-term and mid-term milestones.
We are now looking for Sustainability Expert for our North America team in Home & Distribution. The location for this position is in Mexico. You will be involved in efforts to provide intelligent solutions to help customers create a productive and comfortable environment for its occupants, reduce energy consumption and run building operations efficiently.
What do you get to do in this position?
Decarbonization
• Carbon footprint analysis for business unit products (emphasis in scope 3).
• Strong knowledge and experience in scope 3 emission reduction, LCA, product innovation thru ecoDesign principles, circularity and their application.
Sustainability Compliance
· Secure compliance to environmental directives and regulations (RoHS, REACH, WEEE, Prop 65, TSCA, PFAs, etc.) for preexisting and new offers.
· Support in the generation of environmental documents such as environmental declarations (PEP Product Environment Profiles).
· Use digital tools to create Life-cycle Analysis, Product Environmental Profiles and End-of-Life Instructions.
Desired profile
Qualifications :
This job might be for you if:
· Bachelors in science (B.S.) or degree in Engineering.
· Masters, certifications, diplomas (carbon footprint, LCA, decarbonization, circularity) in sustainability or related field would be a plus.
· 3+ years of experience in sustainability focused role, eco-design, decarbonization within an industrial environment.
· 5 - 7 years of overall experience.
· You are well adept in assessing carbon footprint of product, project and business and well versed with GHG protocol and other related science.
· Leadership, excellent communication skills (English), both verbally and written.
· Having knowledge of Schneider Home and distribution offers is a plus.
