Software Programming intern

We are looking for a 6 months intern to join our team from July to December 2020. This position is only available for students who have valid students pass/ permit from Universities in Singapore.

Work location: Penjuru Lane, Jurong East


The internship role provides you an opportunity to apply academic knowledge and skills in an industrial environment, and to empower the intern's career development through interaction with logistics professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

Work on projects to improve operations and processes:

· Application development to get live data from operation at different stages
· Headcount Movement tracking
· Cargo tracking
· Web Platform Development
· Develop SQL Database
· Application development for iPAD

Design, develop/improve, support, and implement KPI dashboard for the Distribution Center

Assist in the analysis and development of supply chain metrics and business processes

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Requirements

·  Bachelor's in Computer science, Software Engineering
·  Knowledgeable VBA, C Programming, Java, SQL and iPAD App Development Process
·  Must be able to work in teams to lead small project groups
·  Strong project management skills to manage the effective implementation
·  A strong aptitude for working with numbers
·  Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access) plus the ability to quickly learn other applicable systems
