Schneider Electric has an opportunity for the role of Power System Engineering Hub Mentor in Phoenix.
This position is responsible for supporting an engineering execution team that performs power system power system engineering projects. The Hub Mentor should be an expert in at least one area of electrical engineering power design, automation, or system studies. The Hub Engineering Mentor will be called upon to execute and oversee engineering projects executed in the Hub execution centers. They will be responsible for training and mentoring engineers in their area of expertise as well as leveraging other Hub Mentors and PSE training resources to augment their engineering expertise in other areas.
The Project Coordinator
· Enables successful completion of projects by training and mentoring engineers within the Hub as well as overseeing execution of projects
· Executes projects within their area of expertise as called upon by Project Management and the Hub Supervisor
· Reviews work by other engineers to ensure technical accuracy as well as adherence to engineering and PSE standards
· Work with Project Management to ensure proper distribution of work to Hub engineers based on capacity and proficiency of Hub engineers.
Desired profile
The requirements listed below are representative of the education, experience, skills and/or abilities required. An individual must meet the minimum requirements as listed in each Qualifications subsection.
Requirements: BSEE or MSEE required
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
10+ years experience performing electrical engineering power distribution design, automation or system studies.
Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
PE license a significant plus
