Job description
Introduction
· Schneider Electric North America Procurement teams have been going through a high level of transformation to achieve higher performance and bring greater value to the customer experience.
· ETO (engineered to order) Procurement is one of the strong drivers of this transformation and has been contributing heavily in the past year with continued growth and new product introduction.
· ETO North America Procurement is a function within our Global Supply Chain (GSC) that supports a substantial amount of spend within a very diverse and exciting supply base of various technologies.
Plant Procurement Manager
· Responsible for delivering on procurement initiatives and KPI’s for the plant
· Develop and deploy the Annual Procurement Operation Plan (APOP) for the plant
· Build a high-performance procurement team for the plant
· Manage the procurement team to deliver on material productivity KPI’s through various levers. Negotiation, Change of Supplier (COS), Quality Value Engineering (QVE), and/or Supply Base Optimization (SBO)
· Ensure a high level of engagement with the business to build and execute a procurement plan that meets the needs of the business
· Coordinate effectively with Regional and Global category teams to formulate and execute category initiatives
· Close coordination with Finance for AOC (Analysis of Change) alignment and developing actions where variances exist
Desired profile
Qualifications :
Requirements
Experience on SAP, Excel a must
Technical knowledge a plus around commodities related to Sheet metal fabrication, stampings, plastics, electronics
Englsih advanced
Bachelor’s degreeSup ply chain, Engineering, Management
Proven experience in a leadership role within a fast paced environment at least 3 years
