HR Services Onboarding Trainer

Job description
The onboarding trainer is responsible for the design, delivery & facilitating the onboarding process for new employees to HR Services Americas, providing them with the necessary knowledge, skills, and resources to succeed in their roles. They design and deliver training programs that align with company objectives and values, acclimating new hires into Schneider Electric & ensuring a positive employee experience and accelerating the integration of new hires into HR Services Americas.
Responsibilities:
· Develop and deliver onboarding training programs:
· Design and create training materials, presentations, and resources to support onboarding initiatives.
· Conduct interactive training sessions, both in person and virtually, to introduce new hires to company policies, procedures, and culture.
· Bring creative new ideas into the onboarding process to introduce new hires to peers and leadership
· Customize training content to meet the needs of various departments and roles within the organization.
· Coordinate onboarding logistics:
· Collaborate with HR, HR Services, and hiring managers to schedule and organize onboarding activities, including orientation sessions, facility tours, and introductions to key personnel.
· Ensure all necessary equipment, materials, and systems are prepared for new employees.
· Provide individualized support:
· Conduct one-on-one or small group training sessions to address specific needs or skill gaps of new employees.
· Serve as a point of contact for new hires, addressing questions, concerns, and providing guidance throughout the onboarding process.
· Assess training effectiveness:
· Collect feedback from new employees and stakeholders to evaluate the effectiveness of onboarding programs.
· Continuously improve training materials and methods based on feedback and emerging best practices.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams:
· Partner with HR, hiring managers, and subject matter experts to ensure alignment between onboarding training and overall employee development strategies.
· Share insights and collaborate on improvements to onboarding processes and materials.
· Partner with Project Managers on Training workstreams
· Lead creation or updates to training materials based on Projects run by HRS Project Management Office
· Facilitate training sessions to HR Services, Employees, Managers, and/or HR regarding new information & processes needed for successful project deployment & closure
· Assist in adoption measurement and address further training or information needed to assist with Hypercare.

Qualifications :
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
· Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs, preferably in an onboarding or employee development capacity.
· Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire learners.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with new employees and stakeholders.
· Organizational and time management skills to effectively coordinate multiple onboarding activities.
· Knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and training evaluation techniques.
