Job description


This position is accountable for installing, inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing customer equipment. FSR will maintain, retrofit, and provide technical support for all Schneider products, both in the shop and on site. Work on competitive equipment may also be part of the role.

Experimented FSR will share and provide technical instruction and guidance to new and less experienced FSR. He will perform warranty and recall work. Test circuits and equipment utilizing various tools and machines such as computers, software, workstations, circuit diagram, etc. Analyze malfunctions in equipment and interpret maintenance manuals, using knowledge of systems and electronics to isolate and correct issues.

FSR must be available to: respond to emergency calls and for intervention (24/7), maintain service equipment, tools and documentation, and identify sales opportunities.

Any intervention will have to be prepared and performed in total respect of safety guidelines (prevention plan, protection equipment …)

Activities and areas of responsibility:

1. Comply with Safety and cyber security policies, practices and procedures

2. Perform Startup/Commissioning on Schneider Electric product & possible competition equipment.

3. Perform Preventive, scheduled and unscheduled Maintenance on equipment

4. Ability to analyze, and interpret technical procedures, governmental regulations, different problems on our equipment and provide appropriated answer

5. Be able to analyze and explain reports results to customers and management

6. Proactive participation to team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals (SIM1)

7. Understand scope of work, respect time allocation to perform job and ensure full traceability (timesheet, change order etc.)

8. Support planners, coordinators, project manager to get good customer site condition understanding

9. Escalate quality or technical issue detected on field

10. Understand Ecostruxure offer and provide technical explanation to customers

11. Use all digital tools designed for SE FSR

12. Track Installed Base (serviceable assets)

13. Advise customers on different opportunities top optimized its install base and create lead generation business opportunities

14. Perform Field Services Operations and provide best in class customer experience and promote Schneider signature

15. Other tasks which may be assigned by manager within his/her capability

Desired profile

Qualifications :

·  Major: Electrical System, Electrical Distribution (not include Electronics and Automation)
·  Good 4 skills of English to communicate with customers, read technical documents and attend English-speaking trainings
·  Soft skill: customer-first mindset, clear and logical communication
·  Experience: electrical system maintenance (with medium voltage and Schneider’s product is a plus)
