The Electrical Engineer/E.I.T participates in the electrical engineering performed for the detailed engineering, design, commissioning and ongoing support of projects.

W hat do you get to do in this position?
• Follow the Canadian Electrical Code
• Follow Schneider Electric's Electrical Standards
• Participating in the generation of single line drawings, layouts, schedules, routings, distribution, and motor control schemes, as well as inter-connection diagrams for power, lighting and grounding systems
• Performing power system studies such as load flows, short circuits, and motor starting using ETAP or SKM programs
• Actively participating in QMS and HSE programs
• Using the required processes and procedures to execute work
• Reporting any existing or potential safety and QMS non-conformities to a supervisor, Quality Manager or HSE Coordinator
• Maintaining a clean work area through daily housekeeping, as required.
Desired profile
Qualifications :
T his job might be for you if:
• You have a University Degree in Engineering
• Familiarity with electrical systems through professional work experience or academic training
• Ability to learn quickly while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Functional knowledge using Microsoft Office suite
