Job description
We are looking for an eMobility Business Development Manager to join our Commercial Sales organization in order to drive and accelerate our growth in the e-mobility charging infrastructure application.
The e-Mobility market is expanding at a rapid pace with the global electrical car fleet reaching 5.1million at the end of 2018, up 2 million from 2017. As we scale the electrification of our mobility in order to fight the climate change, Schneider Electric develops and commercializes a whole range of e-Mobility charging infrastructure solutions.
In order to continue our rapid growth in this emerging new application, we are currently recruiting 2 eMobility Business Development Manager with one based in Amsterdam and the other in Singapore.
The e-mobility BD is critical role as he/she will be to working closely with clients to strategically design e-mobility charging infrastructure deployment plans as well as be the regional SPOC to support SE countries in accelerating their local deployment in serving this growing application. He/She should be customer focus and has developed the acumen to manage and cultivate customer relations.
MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
- Identify the correct direct and indirect prospective customers that require and will require eMobility charging infrastructure
- Work as a true sales hunter, generating and following up on leads and creating interest in Schneider's e-mobility solution offerings
- Enable SE country organisations to deploy eMobility and be the SPOC for the region assigned
- Achieve growth through solid relationships with prospective clients, gaining detailed understanding of their needs, pain points and strategic direction
- Being aware of market trends and the work you want to capture
- Work with marketing management to ensure promotional activity is carried out to enhance the company image and increase brand on e-mobility awareness
- Provide regular feedback on Schneider's positioning in the marketplace
- Communicate and interact with business decision makers at all levels to identify needs and requirements as well as market opportunities
- Negotiate and close sales
- Maintain prospect and opportunities pipeline using the company's CRM platform
- Use of internal resources ensuring the effective coordination and collaboration
- Ensure that we continue to grow above market levels in the e-mobility application delivering both value to customers and profitability to Schneider Electric
KNOWLEDGE
- A strong knowledge and understanding of the SE products, services and solutions that are most important to the e-mobility applicaton.
- Experience in managing tenders and tailoring tenders to provide unique solutions to suit customer requirements
- The ability to develop a bid strategy and bring it to life increasing conversation hit rate
- Understanding and adaptability to the evolving ecosystem value chain of the eMobility application

Qualifications :
Experience and skills we are looking for:
- Bachelor in Business Administration, Engineering and Marketing
- MBA not mandatory but a plus
- Minimum 5 years in relevant commercial organization
- Strong communication, business management and consulting engagement skills
- Team player and a leader, who can work effectively with customers and colleagues at all levels.
- Independent and self-driven and work with minimum guidance.
- This position will be based in Singapore and regional travel around assigned geographical zone may occur as part of the role (<50%).
