Job Description:

The Mechanical Design Engineer will contribute and support in the design, manufacturing, test, support activities for the development of new offers or evolution of existing offers. Our products are datacenter related infrastructure, including Uninterrupted Power Supply, rack power distribution, rack automatic transfer switches and more.

Qualifications :

Education & Overall Experienc e:

B.E/BTech in Mechanical – with 3 to 5 year’s experience.

Domain Experience:

·  - Hand’s on experience in electromechanical product design.
·  - Working experience and understanding of Sheet metal processes, coatings.
·  - Understanding of manufacturing process for parts/assemblies using sheet metal forming, injection moulding, die-cast.
·  - Design experience on PCB’s with ECAD-MCAD interactions.
·  - Experience in design and selection of wire harness, connectors, glands.
·  - Tolerance stack-up analysis and knowledge of ASME Y14.5 Dimensioning, Tolerancing and Engineering Drawing Practices.
·  - Knowledge of UL/IEC/NEC standards related to electrical cables, enclosures, conduits is preferred.

Software Experience:

- 3 years’ working experience on CAD software Creo (sheet metal, pro/cabling, drawings).
