Schneider Electric's Global Supply Chain Import/ Export team has an outstanding opportunity for a motivated individual to assume the role of Customs Supervisor in our Rojo Gomez, MX location. This individual will be responsible for management of team performance as it relates to import export trade. The Supervisor will drive efficient and robust import and export clearance for SE Mexico. This leader will support customer satisfaction through timely import export clearance operation. This leader will also ensure regulatory application through the supply chain as advised by Tax and Compliance. This role reports to the NAM Global Supply Chain Customs Manager and leads a team of local analysts.

Role Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
• Expedite customs clearance providing qualitative documents, within defined cycle time.
• Ensure a tailored, clear, straightforward, documented communication, through the proper channels & supported by digital
• Analyze and create process performance metrics and KPIs
• Identify root causes of nonperformance and define, then drive the necessary actions plan to improve
• Validate broker invoices, and customs duty
• Validation of carrier and broker invoicing
• Deploy customs regulation and adherence through audits
• Ensure a sound archival process
• Work cross functionally with other departments in our organization to improve communication, mitigate risk and improve internal controls
• Ensure compliance for all AEO & CTPAT minimum security requirements
• Supporting efficient project management through data support/analysis and lean methodology.

Desired profile



Qualifications :

• HTS Classification experience
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Access, SAP, Integration Point, SQL, other analytical tools a bonus
• Good collaborative and interpersonal skills
• Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Prioritizing abilities

Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree
• Talent management experience
• Expert English and Spanish Language capability
• Minimum 5 years trade industry experience
• Knowledge of US and MX import and export control regulation
• Self-starter and able to work with minimum supervision
