Consultant (MES, Thailand) - LOB 3 - SW

Job description

As part of Software Services team, the role will be responsible for MES project execution and application support as per the practice leader's plan.

· Technical responsibilities include problem identification, hardware/software specification, design, implementation, testing, application support and client training.
· Work in a team assigned in the project and work towards completing the project ontime and within budget.
· Interface and engage customers and third parties on technical issues.
· Train customers / endusers on Wonderware suite of products and applications
· Support the pre sales functions by way of presentations and demos to potential customers.
· Willing to work in challenging assignments / environment and willing to constantly upgrade himself/herself with the latest in the process/technology of the MES practice.
· Identify additional products / services opportunities in customer organization.
· Performance is typically measured by delivery of agreed solutions within budgeted hours.

Desired profile

· Candidate should have a minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Computer science, Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Information technology or equivalent.
· Relevant work experience in F&B, Oil & Gas, Chemical industries with at least 2+ years in MES implementations.
· Knowledge of application database structure design of MS SQL/Oracle
· Proficient in programming of SQL Script
· Experience in programming of VS c#.net, Java Script
· Proficient in MS Office
· Knowledge of DCS/PLC/SCADA/OPC preferred
· Knowledge of Wonderware System Platform/InTouch/MES Solution, preferred
· Knowledge of network architecture design will be an advantage
· Shall be a good team player, self motivated and result oriented
· Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English
