Communication Software Engineer

Job description

The project leader who is leading the communication software development projects in the team that develops communication software between HMI terminals and PLCs.

1.Lead the communication software development projects
2.Ensure that all the commitments are met (schedule, budget …)
3.Initiate and coordinate all the project execution process activities
4.Present solutions, costs, impacts... to the stakeholders
5.Identify issues and risks, coordinate and track action plans
6.Prepare stage gates decisions and report progress, planning, etc. to be submitted to project progress report review
7.Review the communication software source code and give advice to engineer
8.Investigate the communication software standard document
9.Design lead the communication software

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Requirement and skills

Required
1. More than 5 years solid software engineer experience by using C++ language
2. More than 5 years embedded system with real-time OS Linux experience
3. Communication software (common communication software like MODBUS RTU/TCP, OPC-UA) knowledge and more than 3 years its experience.
4. PLCs vender communication protocols like Rockwell, Siemens, Mitsubishi and OMRON
5. Network standard protocol TCP/IP
6. Business level English skill
7. Daily conversation level Japanese

1. Project Management knowledge and experience
2. Product safety and Cyber security knowledge
