Position Summary:

The Cleantech Services Analyst will support and assist in the delivery of high-impact services and solutions that create client value, financial and environmental impact reductions, and develop / track performance against client goals and strategies. Schneider Electric is seeking candidates with experience, skills or aptitude in the below responsibility areas. Overall, the Cleantech Services Analyst will have a disciplined focus on providing client services and solutions for renewable energy solutions, as well as other evolving energy management opportunities.

Position responsibilities:
· Learn and demonstrate increasing knowledge of industry concepts regarding energy and renewable energy management, reporting, and procurement across a broad spectrum of markets and available tactics and contract structures.
· Assist and support Cleantech Operations teammates and Clients in implementing sustainable energy strategies and solutions. Provide tactical operations services to fulfill Schneider ESS' Clean Tech services to clients, including tactical deployment across a broad spectrum of opportunities.
· Duties shall include administering and supporting various consulting service obligations such as renewable energy market research, on-site and off-site renewable generation offer solicitations and analysis, as well as similar initiatives related to clean technology; including energy storage and fuel cell technology.
· Research, filter, warehouse and document emerging information and trends relating to global sustainability and clean technology initiatives such as environmental and carbon legislation, renewable and efficiency incentives, vendor advancements, and energy technology evolution.
· Provide tactical support in the analysis of evaluations and assessments of clean and renewable technology opportunities including solicitation of Requests for Proposal (RFP) and in-depth proposal review of alternative clean technology options for supervisor review and eventual submittal to client(s). Assist in the production and administration of site and client specific feasibility studies and related analysis(es) using common financial analysis techniques.
· Administer, coordinate, and perform tasks required for monetization and optimization of Renewable Energy Credit (REC) sales to market counterparties in accordance with client Renewable Energy program strategy.
· Participate in the collaboration and partnership with multi-disciplinary teams within Schneider Electric to help coordinate and complete service and solutions delivery.
· Maintain awareness of and follow established protocols with regard to external renewable and clean tech vendor on-boarding, review and approval process.
· Other Duties as may be assigned
· Some domestic and international travel necessary (5-15%)

Qualifications :

Essential skills and qualifications:
·  Bachelor's Degree in Energy, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related technical field with 1+ years of related professional experience
·  An interest in pursuing a career in emerging energy services
·  Strong aptitude for learning new and different topics
·  Versatility and the ability to, learn, and work across multiple disciplines
·  Commitment to learning and adapting to emerging energy landscapes
·  Experience in supplier and RFP / offer tender management preferred but not required
·  Ability to work well with a large network of internal colleagues
·  High commitment to company vision, values and excellent customer service with high quality work product
·  Ability to communicate, both written and verbally, analyses and ideas in a concise, effective manner
·  Analytical self-starter with strong attention to detail
·  Strong multi-tasking skills with the ability to work on multiple projects in diverse areas
·  Proficient computer experience in Microsoft Office Products, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Non-Essential but preferred skills and qualifications:
·  Consulting or advisory experience
·  Procurement experience, with energy procurement experience preferred
