GreenStruxure is a partnership bringing together Schneider Electric’s industry leading expertise in renewable energy microgrids and Huck Capital’s sustainability-focused investments, launched in September 2020 to deliver energy-as-a-service solutions to commercial and industrial medium-sized buildings in the U.S. This partnership is simplifying and accelerating the market adoption of microgrids, offering an innovative outcome-based alternative for building owners and operators who want sustainable, cost-effective, resilient, onsite energy delivered to them hassle-free as a service by specialists with no upfront capital expenses or operational risks.

GreenStruxure’s core technology integrates hardware and software components of microgrids that need to be constructed to deliver this energy-as-a-service to customers.

The GreenStruxure Offer & Capabilities team oversees development and validation of:

· The Systems that will be built to produce and deliver energy on customer premises,
· The Tools that are used to ensure their financial viability,
· The Asset Under Management solutions deployed to operate and maintain them,
· The Energy management solutions implemented to manage them as a fleet.

What do you get to do in this position?

The Project Designer – will be responsible for the drawings and details for the microgrids.

Some of the main responsibilities are:

· Generate templates for the industrialization of the designing process.
· Generate the plant layouts including the other assets of the microgrid: PV, BESS, Generator, Distribution panels, etc.
· Electrical and mechanical interconnection details
· Generate drawings of the PV Plant layouts for rooftop, carport and ground-mount solutions, string routes, location of the panels, optimizing the inverters location, AC distribution panels, etc.
· Generate design packages for construction bids, including BOM, documents for construction/permit, and technical details.
· Generate Site plans, single line diagrams, three-line diagrams, and architectural drawings for permitting purposes.
· Create Demolition plans
· Generate and maintain Engineering Drawings for Standard Equipment
· Generate presentations and 3D renderings as needed.
· Conduct site assessments and field verification as needed (virtual, possible travel)
· Assist the construction team with drawings.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

This job might be for you if you fit the following requirements:

·  +2 years of experience using any 2D or 3D CAD software, AutoCAD preferred, Revit highly valuable.
·  +2 years of experience within the Commercial and Industrial market.
·  Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
·  Detail oriented.
·  Fluent in English.

Technical skills:

· Experience in electrical engineering (notion of how a solar module, inverter, transformer, etc, works).

· Some notion of how a microgrid works.

· Understanding on how a plan set is integrated.

· Able to check all deliverables for quality, accuracy, and completeness.

· Proficiency with AutoCAD.

· Excellent computer skills with experience with MS Office suite

· Experience in generating engineering drawings following NEC or NOM.

· Experience in generating site plans and single line drawings.

· Capacity of analyzing installation manuals to develop connection diagrams.

· Experience in creating CAD blocks.

· Knowledge and understanding of general construction practices.
