Job Description for Xactly Incent Techno Functional Analyst - Compensation with Schneider Electric India

About the group (SD): All IT needs for SE are managed by a group called Schneider Digital (SD); spread across 303 locations in 60 countries with over 2300 staff; along with various engagements with all major Global IT Service Providers.

About the role: This role will be responsible for building and providing key operational strategy for SE's Sales Compensation System (Xactly Incent). Primary responsibilities will include design Xactly Incent compensation solution & strategy for the global business entities’ compensation plans in Xactly Incent while ensuring best practices are adopted and scalable solutions are delivered.

Qualifications & Certifications

· Engineering Graduate or Master of Computer Applications (MCA)
· Xactly Incent Certification Exam Level 1 or 2 from Xactly University.

Required Skills (Must have) along with necessary industry experience

General

· Experience with the Sales incentive programs
· Knowledge in sales commissions & pay-out process.
· Should have completed at least 1 implementation of Xactly Incent product.
· Good Exposure towards managing SIP (Sales Incentive Plan) Payouts
· Experience of working through Agile methodology
· Excellent Communication skills and presentation skills
· Willingness to learn new products and processes

Functional Competencies

· Functional Expertise on Xactly Incent module – Business process, Analytics ,includes Configuration & Setups.
· Experience in analysis & designing sales compensation plans.
· Consulting skills to perform Fit/gap analysis, Business analysis, SDLC concepts such as Agile, Waterfall, Support Management.

Technical Competencies

· Configure within the Xactly incentive compensation platform as per design provided.
· Configure complex business scenarios within the Xactly Platform.
· Strong understanding and experience in Xactly tools such as Incent, Connect and Analytics.
· Good knowledge on Compensation rules and underlying attributes mapping.
· Good knowledge and working experience in writing Formulas & Rules in Incent.
· Good knowledge of eDocs module.
· Working experience in designing & configuring plans in Incent.
· Leads Entity through the entire implementation cycle including requirements, configuration, testing, SIT, UAT, deployment and transition to support for production discussions
· Assists Entity in execution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and responsible for timely troubleshooting and resolution of defects/issues.

Essential Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

· Knowledge in sales commissions & pay-out process with good exposure towards managing SIP (Sales Incentive Plan using Xactly Incent, Connect & Analytics
· Should be able to understand SIP architecture used in SE and improvise on the same.

3. In depth understanding of Incentive compensation data, rules, and processes and emphasize on simplification of configuration

· Ability to configure rules, create plans, assist in test case creation & testing Xactly applications
· Should understand the functional and business requirements and able to translate the same to delivery team with clear project scope/backlog items/priority (epic/features/user stories) that guide the Agile development team
· Closely work with SIP vendor to understand the product roadmap and develop internal roadmap for SE requirements pertaining to SIP
· Communicate the product development and feature enhancement timelines to the larger SIP community and business
· Convert complex business requirements into Incent configurations
· Capability to design and implement dashboard and reports on Xactly analytics
· Work closely with the analytical and technical team in automating the data flow from Xactly connect to external BI tool followed by AWS server
· Automate & integrate sales/orders/revenue data from business tools (e. g. SAP) to downstream systems, like SIP (Xactly Incent)
· As a consultant, Work towards enabling solutions and drive SIP stratgey
· Should be able to understand SIP architecture used in SE and improvise on the same.
