Telvent USA, LLC has the following position available in Houston, Texas: ADMS Deployment Engineer (Multiple Positions).

What do you get to do in this position?

S/he will leverage product and industry experience to work with a project team on the design, implementation, and testing of ADMS and SCADA components on SCADA and ADMS (Advanced Distribution Management System) projects.

·
S/he will be a part of a project team to deploy ADMS (Advanced Distribution Management) software and will lead at a technical level some subtasks.

·
S/he will work as part of a project team to deploy ESCADA (Electrical Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition) software and may lead at a technical level some subtasks.

·
S/he will associate with project team members and/or directly with customer to diagnose issues with the functionality and/or performance of ADMS and/or ESCADA software in critical production environments.

·
S/he will collaborate with customers to deploy hotfixes/patches to critical production environments running ADMS and/or ESCADA software and tests/verifies that the hotfix/patch resolves issues, while not introducing new ones.

·
S/he will be involved with colleagues in the product center to improve the efficiency of deployment on ADMS and ESCADA products.

·
S/he will be responsible for working with other members of Schneider Electric's L1 (level 1) and L2 (level 2) 24/7 support team to ensure that critical issues on customer systems are resolved as quickly and efficiently as possible.

S/he will help to train colleagues on deployment of ADMS and ESCADA software. S/he will help maintain internal test systems used to validate changes to against simulated environments of customer systems.

·
S/he will work with the support team on an as-needed basis to help resolve trouble tickets reported by customers using ADMS and/or ESCADA software.

·
20% travel required to U.S. and Canada.

This job might be for you if:

· 
This position requires Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field and 5 years of progressive work experience in electrical distribution system automation, utilities, and control.

· 
Also must have 5 years of work experience in Performing software integration using SCADA to test field services and devices for electrical systems; Executing critical software utilities for distribution networks using ADMS; and Leading projects for deliberate software.
