Job Description:

Shipping & Customs Clearance officer is a key player in follow up with Buyers, Suppliers, Freight Forwarders and Clearance Agents to ensure that shipments are being delivered on time as per the planned requirements. Relevant position is responsible for executing updating shipments status in SAP and the internal customers and working on his KPI's to achieve the defined lead time.

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Follow up daily shipping & customs clearance operations related activities.
· Monitor and co‐operative closely with logistics operational staff and ensure professionalism and high level of work standard in day to day
work is maintained.
· Monitor closely the delivery schedules and ensure all customs clearance KPI's are being met.
· Monitor and follow up deeply all opportunities to reduce additional costs, demurrage/detention.
· Weekly reporting on shipping & customs clearance operations to Shipping & Customs Clearance Manager.
· Co-ordinate with all required Logistics service providers.
· Follow all claims with external -internal concerned till closing
(monthly reports to shipping & customs clearance manager are must)
· Payment follow up with A/C
· Follow the deposit refund claims with the customs & review the
related reports on monthly basis with shipping manager.
· Updating SAP with day to day shipments status.

Academic Qualification:

· Academic requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Commerce/ Logistics

· Experience in Logistics: Preferably 1-2 years' experience as Part of freight forwarding team

· Ability to learn and understand new tools and concepts Quickly

· Very Good Computer literacy, with focus on ERP.
